The Refugee Council is a non-governmental organization active across Brandenburg since 1994. Members include:
\n– Refugees and people with and without experience of migration
\n– Staff of welfare organizations and counseling centers
\n– Churches
\n– Refugee-led initiatives
\n– Political initiatives
\nWe fight for better living conditions for refugees and for an anti-racist society built on solidarity.
\nThe Refugee Council’s political work is independent. We are committed to working for the interests refugees, asserting their rights and securing their access to full social participation.
\nWe firmly believe human rights must be asserted over policies that turn away refugees.
\nWe fight for a real right to stay for all refugees and other migrants. We strongly reject deportations. Returns must only ever be voluntary and self-determined.
\nWe reject the exclusion and isolation of refugees through placement in camps\/Lagern and demand equal rights for all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
