V. (BAfF) is an umbrella organisation for psychosocial centers, institutions and initiatives that have set themselves the task of providing psychosocial and therapeutic care to refugees in Germany. The registered association emerged from a series of national meetings, at which the idea of a nationwide alliance of psychosocial centers in Germany was discussed. As a result, it was decided to found the BAfF, which was officially registered as an association in 1997.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What we do<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>BAfF works at various levels to strengthen care for traumatized refugees. Through various projects, in partnership with member centers and international partner organizations, BAfF promotes professional exchange of experience and knowledge; represents common concerns over the living situation of survivors of politically motivated violence; and develops <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baff-zentren.org\/baff\/leitlinien\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quality standards<\/a> for the appropriate treatment of traumatized refugees.
