November 2025<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/div><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-title\" href=\"https:\/\/flucht-gender.de\/en\/2025\/09\/save-the-date-weibliche-genitalverstuemmelung-fgm-c-im-asylverfahren\/\">Save the Date: Weibliche Genitalverst\u00fcmmelung (FGM\/C) im Asylverfahren<\/a><div class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-full-content\"><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Weibliche Genitalverst\u00fcmmelung\/Beschneidung (FGM\/C) ist eine schwerwiegende Menschenrechtsverletzung und wird zu den geschlechtsspezifischen Verfolgungsgr\u00fcnden (\u00a73a Abs. 1 Nr. 1 AsylG, i. V. m. \u00a7 3a Abs. 2 Nr. 6 AsylG) gez\u00e4hlt. FGM\/C kann daher ein Anerkennungsgrund sein. Dies gilt insbesondere, wenn M\u00e4dchen und Frauen im Herkunftsland von Beschneidung bedroht oder betroffen sind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In letzter Zeit ist jedoch zu beobachten, dass es f\u00fcr Betroffene und bedrohte M\u00e4dchen schwieriger wird, ihre Anspr\u00fcche durchzusetzen, ihre Asylverfahren werden zunehmend abgelehnt.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Daher wird es in dem Vortrag von RAin Claire Deery um die \u00bbSchnittstelle\u00ab Asylverfahren und FGM\/C gehen: Welches sind die H\u00fcrden, die das Verfahren f\u00fcr Betroffene aufweist, und wie k\u00f6nnen Beratungseinrichtungen unterst\u00fctzen, damit die Betroffenen zu ihrem Recht kommen. Ihre Lebenswirklichkeiten nicht nur gepr\u00e4gt von den Erfahrungen, die mit Flucht einhergehen, wie Trauma und Verlust, sondern nicht selten auch von einschr\u00e4nkender Asylgesetzgebung und deren Auswirkungen auf Beteiligungsm\u00f6glichkeiten. Zus\u00e4tzlich sind sie konfrontiert mit allt\u00e4glichen Diskriminierungserfahrungen, darunter Rassismus, Sexismus und Klassismus.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Fachkr\u00e4fte der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe und angrenzender Arbeitsfelder sind herausgefordert, die M\u00e4dchen* und jungen Frauen* in der Bew\u00e4ltigung dieser Herausforderungen sowie in der Entwicklung positiver Zukunftsperspektiven zu unterst\u00fctzen. Hierf\u00fcr bedarf es auf der einen Seite Wissen und Sensibilit\u00e4t f\u00fcr die besonderen Bedarfe gefl\u00fcchteter M\u00e4dchen* und junger Frauen*. Auf der anderen Seite d\u00fcrfen jene nicht auf ihre Flucht- und Diskriminierungserfahrungen reduziert werden. Stattdessen m\u00fcssen ihre verschiedenen Erfahrungen, Ressourcen, Perspektiven und St\u00e4rken in den Blick genommen werden, und dabei auch eigene Bilder hinterfragt werden. Das Seminar bietet Gelegenheit, sich mit den Bedingungen des Ankommens von M\u00e4dchen* und jungen Frauen* nach der Flucht auseinanderzusetzen und dar\u00fcber zu diskutieren, welche politischen und gesellschaftlichen Ver\u00e4nderungen hin zu mehr Teilhabegerechtigkeit notwendig sind. Das Gesetz gew\u00e4hrt Frauen und ihren Kindern, die geschlechtsspezifische oder h\u00e4usliche Gewalt erfahren, einen rechtlichen Anspruch auf Beratung und Schutz \u2013 insbesondere den Platz in einem Frauenhaus. Das Gesetz ist eine wichtige Errungenschaft, basiert aber auch auf schmerzhaften inhaltlichen Kompromissen. Registration is possible from January 7.   <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/div><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-title\" href=\"https:\/\/flucht-gender.de\/en\/2024\/10\/ecj-strengthens-the-rights-of-women-from-afghanistan\/\">ECJ strengthens the rights of women from Afghanistan<\/a><div class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-full-content\"><!-- wp:paragraph {\"translatedWithWPMLTM\":\"1\"} -->\n<p>On October 4, 2024, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that women from Afghanistan can generally be considered a persecuted group due to systematic oppression by the Taliban. Accordingly, it is sufficient to examine the gender and nationality of the women concerned in order to grant them refugee protection. It is not necessary to examine in detail whether the women would face specific persecution upon return.
