Short description:“Now we’re talking. A brochure with perspectives of queer girls and women after flight” includes articles, reports, demands and perspectives on the life situations and needs of queer girls and women with a history of flight and migration. The brochure was created in a cooperation process between the projects Q_munity (Fachstelle Queere Jugend NRW) and IM*A – Intersectionale Mädchenarbeit (ehem. Mädchen* nach Flucht, LAGMA NRW). Firstly, by dividing the project into two parts, insights into the political, social and health situation of queer and female refugees can be provided. What role does a normative language play in this, which has an impact on individual and collective possibilities for action? Secondly, the focus is on joint workshop processes, voices and concrete demands from experts. Shivā Āmiri also provides enriching impulses for queer girls’ work that is critical of racism in the context of displacement. The brochure is aimed at specialist agencies, providers and institutions of open child and youth work as well as professionals and interested parties who would like to take a closer look at the accessibility of queer girls and young women who have fled. Funding was provided by the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration.
